Privacy Policy
Effective: June 10, 2026
Introduction
Sasquatch Labs, Inc. ("Sasquatch," "we," "our," or "us") provides a platform for optimizing, retaining, and analyzing operational and security data, including observability data such as logs, traces, and metrics, and security monitoring and analytics. We also operate the sasquatchlabs.io website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and to the services we make available, except where a separate agreement with your organization states otherwise.
Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
Account and contact information. When you create an account, request a demo, join a waitlist, or contact us, we collect details you provide such as your name, work email, company, role, and the content of your message.
Your operational and security data. The platform is designed to keep your content under your control. Where you deploy the software within your own cloud or infrastructure, your data and the destinations you choose remain in your environment, and we do not access, store, or retain that content. Where you use a managed option that we operate on your behalf, we process your data solely to provide the service, under your instructions and your agreement, and we never sell it or use it for unrelated purposes. In all cases we may process limited operational metadata, such as volume, health, and usage measurements and account identifiers, that we need to deliver and support the service.
Website and usage data. When you visit our website we collect standard information such as pages viewed, features used, browser and device type, referring source, approximate location, and IP address, through cookies and similar technologies as described below.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies on our website. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.
Essential cookies. These are always active and are required for the site to function, including basic security, reliability, and remembering your cookie choice. They do not require consent.
Optional analytics cookies. With your consent, we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are not set until you accept them.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. Optional cookies are not placed until you choose to accept them, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the stored preference in your browser or by contacting us. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the following bases: to perform a contract with you or your organization; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our services; with your consent, such as for optional analytics cookies and certain communications; and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

They process information under contract, only on our instructions. A current list of these providers is available on request and under our data processing agreement.
- Legal and safety. Where required to comply with law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Sasquatch.

International Transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it in line with applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain account information for the duration of your relationship with us and for a reasonable period afterward. Demo, waitlist, and contact submissions are retained for up to 24 months. Operational and usage measurements may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form. We retain information longer where required by law. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time as described below.
